My interest in photography began when I was about fifteen years old. My Dad had given me an old film camera of his and started to teach me a little something about photography. And then, one day ... life happened. Photography had been put aside. But it always remained in the back of my mind.

Years later, after my children were grown and on their own, I decided to do the one thing I have always wanted to do; learn photography. With the time available, and the help of family, friends and fellow photographers, I have been able to accomplish my dream.

A combination of these things (along with a love of genealogy and scrapbooking), have led me to the desire to make photographs that will be cherished for years to come.

I am a member of the Professional Photographers of America. As a past volunteer photographer for the Lake Metroparks, I have had many photographs published in the Lake Metroparks publications. I have been a Mentor, Ohio (and surrounding area) photographer for the last 9 years.
